Everyone is welcome! Folks with an interest in Scandinavian history and culture are encouraged to visit us. Although we are a membership organization we offer activities for members and non-members alike.

Lefse making

Lefse making will be held at the Lodge for our first bake sale of 2025 on May 17th.

Baking dates are:

Thursday July 17th at 9:30 & Friday July 18th at 9

Preparing the potatoes takes place on the first day and rolling and cooking the lefse on the next day.

Novices and non-members are welcome.

Bake sales at Port Angeles Farmers Market

Olympic Lodge #37 in Port Angeles is planning to hold bake sales at the Port Angeles Farmers Market on the third Saturday of the month beginning May 17th and continuing through the end of the year:

Upcoming dates are Saturdays August 16th, November 15th and December 20th.

The market takes place from 10 am to 2pm in downtown Port Angeles at the outdoor Gateway Center located at the intersection of Front and Lincoln Streets. We will have lefse, kringle and other seasonal baked goods. Weather permitting, we will also feature Scandinavian greeting cards and gift wrap by our lodge artist.

Dancing

6pm to 8pm Sundays. A $5 donation is suggested.
All are welcome and instruction is provided.

If you are new to our group, or have had a lapse in your participation with us, you need to call Dick Grinstad 360-391-9704 or Roxanne Grinstad 360-391-9171. Our schedule varies! This is the only way to assure that we are dancing on a given night.

Monday September 8th at 4pm at the Lodge.

Tuesday October 14th at 4pm at the Lodge. Cherie Kidd, Ms. Senior World, will share with us her experiences in the Senior world competition.

Monday November 10th at 7pm at the Lodge. Catered dinner for members and friends.

Members, invite your friends or anyone you think might want to become a lodge member or might enjoy these meetings.

Please let Dick know (360-391-9704) if you are attending the dinner on November 10th and how many guests you expect and we will order accordingly.
